We are committed to delivering the highest level of hygiene and safety protocol during our event. Therefore, to ensure our attendees can enjoy a productive conference environment, we will be requiring all in-person attendees to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of the event’s start date.
StemExpress is the official COVID-19 testing partner for the Cell & Gene Meeting on the Mesa. The health and safety of attendees and participants is our top priority, and StemExpress will be providing testing options before, during, and after the conference.
StemExpress is offering a convenient take-home testing option for all attendees and participants to purchase prior to the event. Our COVID-19 RT -PCR Self-Testing Kit allows you to perform the self-swab from the comfort of your home. In order to comply with testing regulations, please activate and execute your test on Saturday, October 9th. Immediately ship your completed COVID-19 test kit back to StemExpress with the prepaid label included. Our lab will process your results and input them within your MyChart patient account by Monday, October 11th.

Please note that failure to perform your test within the time frame provided could result in denied access to the event. If this occurs, please visit our COVID-19 rapid test site on location at the event.
If you are unable to utilize the StemExpress self-testing kit option, StemExpress will also be performing on-site rapid PCR COVID-19 testing on location during the event. The state-of-the-art Thermo Fisher Accula™ SARS-CoV-2 test provides gold-standard PCR testing via nasal swab, with results in 30 minutes.
StemExpress COVID Testing will be in Suite 221 at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. Rapid tests will be available Monday, Oct. 11 from 4pm - 7pm during check-in, and throughout the event, from Tuesday, Oct. 12, to Thursday, October 14. Travel Required Testing
StemExpress COVID Testing will provide rapid COVID PCR testing for travel in Suite 221 at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. While the PCR Test is widely accepted as the gold-standard for travel required COVID testing, please check the traveler entry requirements for your country prior to testing here. Tests are $99 and are payable at point of care by credit or debit card.
Test for the Ease of Mind
StemExpress will also be offering RT-PCR Self-Testing kits for purchase at the event for those who would like test after the event. Please pick up a COVID-19 self-testing kit to perform 3-5 days after the event. Ship this kit back to StemExpress with the provided pre-paid label for processing in 1-2 days. Your results will be uploaded to your MyChart account. Book your test ahead of time here.

We will provide hand sanitizing stations throughout the hotel and conference space, encouraging all participants to regularly disinfect their hands.

All staff and attendees will be encouraged to wear a face mask throughout hotel common space and conference designated areas.
With our venue partners, we will actively design and maintain a food and beverage experience that will employ the highest safety standard.
We will follow guidance from local and state health authorities on participant screening protocol. This may include temperature checks as well as any additional measures that are recommended.
