Focused Ultrasound Foundation: Enabling Targeted Delivery for Gene and Cell Therapies
The Focused Ultrasound Foundation is a non-profit organization pioneering noninvasive therapeutic delivery using focused ultrasound—an enabling platform that transiently opens biological barriers such as the blood-brain barrier (BBB), enhancing the precision and efficacy of gene and cell therapies.
We support translational research across multiple organ systems, with a strategic focus on neurological and oncological indications, as well as large-organ delivery. Our programs bridge academic discovery and industry innovation with the goal of catalyzing first-in-human trials. The Foundation’s portfolio spans viral and non-viral vectors, cell therapies, and immuno-oncology.
By addressing key delivery challenges, we aim to expand the reach and impact of regenerative medicine. Our presentation will highlight recent milestones, collaborative models, and opportunities to leverage focused ultrasound as a scalable, noninvasive delivery modality for gene and cell therapy developers.
