Morphocell Technologies is a regenerative medicine company developing stem cell-derived engineered tissues to replace failing organs. Initially focused on severe liver disease, the company has built a fully integrated platform based on allogeneic, immune-shielded iPSC-derived tissues designed to deliver scalable, off-the-shelf therapies. Headquartered in the Greater Montreal Area, with operations in Boston/Cambridge, Southern California and Rome, Morphocell is advancing its lead product, ReLiver®, an engineered liver tissue for acute and acute-on-chronic liver failure that aims to restore liver function without immunosuppression. Following a US$50 million Series A financing, the company is progressing ReLiver® through IND/CTA-enabling studies toward first-in-human clinical trials. Its proprietary manufacturing and cell delivery platform supports a broad pipeline of future organ replacement therapies designed to address major unmet medical needs.
