Vitalant’s biotherapies program has expanded and is strategically positioned to address a critical gap in the rapidly evolving cell and gene therapy landscape, bridging the space between patient needs and the current capabilities of the healthcare environment. Our clinical services team is delivering first and last miles services connecting hospitals, therapeutic developers and patients to enable delivery of care and monitoring to the communities where patients live.
We provide clinically-focused services including apheresis collections – whether in the hospital with credentialed nurses or in our collection centers located around the country where patients live. Our intermediate processing supports manufacturing through cell product processing and characterization, and cryopreservation. Our pharmacy services allow us to prepare and deliver manufactured product to the bedside Our FDA-registered labs, facilities and operations are accredited by AABB, FACT, CAP, CLIA, and ASHI, as relevant.
